What a year this has been! We are in the final month of 2020 and it has felt like a decade since we rang in the new year and new decade. But, alas, it has only been 11 months! Even though some call 2020 the year of the dumpster fire, I actually had a decent year. I want to share some of my blessings with you and there was a lot. Let's get right into it, shall we!
PUBLISHED MY DEBUT NOVEL!
On March 9, 2020, my debut novel, "Will You Love Me Again," officially took the world by storm! I am still blown away at the fact that more than just my friends and family can read my book.
My book baby is turning 9 months old this month!!
Second novel!
On March 13th, I finally decided to open my novel #2 Google Doc after nine months of not working on it. Now on December 4th, I have 17 chapters!! Three chapters left until my second novel is complete.
Never giving up on my dreams was a major thing about my 2020!!!
"Where Will We Go?" is my 2021 dream! I can't wait to share it with you!
First Book Interview!!!
In June, my first interview about my book was published in my local newspaper!!!
I am still so honored that I got to share my accomplishment with my hometown!
My Logo!
In June, my sister and I created my author logo. Woah! It turned out so good!
Twitter Writing Community!
I absolutely love the Twitter Writing Community! I have made so many author friends since March, it is unreal.
I am gotten to share in their success and cheer them on and I am so glad I have been able to do that this year.
BUTTERCUP!!!
On July 10th, I picked up my puppy! I still can't believe I have almost had her five months and she will be six months on December 5th!
She is getting so big and is Momma's troublemaker! There is never a dull moment with her, ever!
She is hyper and full of life. She loves running. She loves chasing and playing with our cats. She loves cuddling with whoever has a soft blanket. She loves sleeping in Momma's bed.
TGCC Winter & Summer Retreats!
Two amazing church retreats in the books for (January & July) 2020!
I am so thankful for the friendships I have developed because of these trips. I love my college and career group so much!
From the mountain tops to the valley below, life is better with good company.

My Sister's Married!
On July 25th, my twin sister married the love of her life, her high school sweetheart! I am so glad I got to stand by her as her sister and maid of honor on her special day!
Almost five months married, I still can't believe it! She became a wife and a homeowner, I am beyond proud of her and my brother-in-law for their awesome milestones this year!
My Man!!!!
On September 26th, I finally messaged this amazing man back and I am so glad that I did. Four days later on September 30th, he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes!
We've already conquered so many things in two short months, and I can't wait to conquer more with him by my side!
I am beyond thankful for 2020 bringing me the love of my life, my favorite person! :)
NaNoWriMo2020!
November 2020 was a blast! I participated in National Novel Writing Month and I kicked butt!
I broke 30,000 words in 30 days and I still can't believe it!! :)
I reached new writing goals! Challenged myself and I am continuing that challenge in December!!
Homeowner!
On December 3rd, I closed on my first house!! :)
I have wanted my own house since I moved back home after college in December 2018. Finally, that is happening for me this Spring. Remodel has started and I hope to be sitting in my new home in 2021!!
I am so happy that I had so much support during this process and huge dream! I never gave up!!
